Search continues for fisherman feared to have been taken by crocodile in remote Far North Queensland

Police, the SES and wildlife officers from the Department of Environment and Science (DES) have resumed a search for a man who disappeared while fishing in the Kennedy River on Cape York.

Emergency services were called to Kennedy Bend camping area in the Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park, north-west of Cairns, around 3.30pm on Saturday following reports a 65-year-old Laura man had disappeared.
