A mentally ill teenager stabbed his grandparents to death because a voice in his head told him to "kill them", a court heard today.
Tobyn Salvatore admitted subjecting Denis and Mary Fell to a merciless knife attack, even cutting off his grandmother’s hand as she tried to protect herself from his crazed onslaught.
He later told psychiatrists he attributed the voice he heard to the "Woman in Black", a character from a horror film he had watched over 80 times. He has been confined to the State Hospital ahead of sentencing in September.
