Gangster Robert Kelbie posed for selfies with Oasis legend Noel Gallagher at Saturday’s world title fight at Wembley Stadium.
Kelbie, 38, was hanging out at the boxing extravaganza where pal Tyson Fury knocked out Dillian Whyte to defend his heavyweight crown.
The convicted fraudster was pictured twice with music superstar Gallagher, 54, at the sold-out event.
In one photo in the main arena, Kelbie is wearing a ‘ringside journalist’ pass around his neck while the second appeared to be taken backstage.
Gallagher, who fronts the High Flying Birds, was among 94,000 fans who watched Fury, 33, record a sixth-round victory.
Kelbie is no stranger to grabbing celebrity selfies, and has posted snaps of himself with former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
He has racked up more than 21,000 followers on Instagram with pictures of himself in the world of top rank boxing.
An underworld source told the Record: “Seeing Kelbie hanging out with Noel Gallagher you would think he was a rock star himself. They know each other from watching boxing before.
“Robert is well connected in that world so he’s often to be found hanging out with celebs. Who says crime doesn’t pay?”
Kelbie, an ex-boxer, told in 2020 how he was working with Fury as the pair toured Scotland together.
He also claimed to represent super middleweight Billy Joe Saunders as ‘director of talent’ at MTK Global, which was co-founded by Daniel Kinahan.
Kinahan, 44, has previously been named in the Irish courts as the head of one of Europe’s most prominent drug gangs.
Fury was previously advised by Kinahan but insisted he now had “absolutely zero” involvement with the reputed mob boss during the run-up to the Whyte bout.
The Gypsy King spoke out after Kinahan was hit with financial sanctions by the US which put up a $5 million reward for information to bring down cartel leaders.
Earlier this month we told how an MSP claimed the Kinahan cartel was working in partnership with the feared Lyons gang in Scotland.
Russell Findlay, community safety spokesman for the Scottish Conservatives, said the close links were “widely known”.
Kelbie has previously been locked in a long-term feud with Scots cocaine baron Mark Richardson, who has ties to the Lyons’ arch rivals, the Daniels crew.
In 2017 Kelbie, who gained a playboy reputation after dating ex-Miss Scotland Lois Weatherup and driving a Ferrari, told the Record he’d been in a “seven-year war” with Richardson, 35.
In the previous year, the pair had a punch-up in front of shocked mourners after a funeral in Edinburgh.
Kelbie’s home in the city’s Ratho Station was shot at in September 2016.
The house was also shot at in November 2013. A volley of bullets hit buildings in the Kelbie compound, which was fortified with spiked railings and CCTV cameras.
Kelbie was shot in the back outside Bannatyne’s Health Club in the city’s Newcraighall in 2010.
In 2012 Kelbie admitted a £145,000 mortgage fraud and was later ordered to pay back £34,000 under the Proceeds of Crime Act. In 2014 he was made bankrupt.
