Scottish TV star Rose Leslie has given birth to her second child with partner and fellow Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington.
A representative of Harington confirmed the exciting news on Monday, as the pair welcomed their second child alongside their two-year-old son. The Scot, 35, met English-born Harington, 36, while they both appeared on the HBO show.
The fantasy series ended back in 2019, after eight successful seasons. Harington played the ever-popular Jon Snow in the show, while Leslie played wildling Ygritte.
She is known most famously on the show for her phrase: "You know nothing, Jon Snow".
The couple married in 2018 in Scotland at Leslie's ancestral home in Aberdeenshire - then announced the birth of their first child in February 2021.
Harington previously admitted he was "terrified" of becoming a father again, after "walking on clouds for nine months" with his first born.
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in the US in February, Harington spoke about his two-year-old, saying: "He’s about to get the shock of his life, which is he’s about to get a brother or sister. I’m terrified.
"With the first baby you’re walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months, well the man is anyway. But this time the reality check comes much sooner, you get practical real quick.”
He added: "I’m not sure he’s quite conceptually understood it yet.
"We’re trying to get him ready for it, we point at Rose’s tummy and we say ‘mummy’s baby’ and he points at his tummy and says ‘my baby’."
