A Scots animal charity is appealing for information after a beloved pooch consumed 'pink pellets' in a popular Edinburgh park and had to be rushed to the vets.
The Scottish SPCA believe the pellets containing rat poison were deliberately placed in Dovecot Park with the intention of injuring or killing family pets.
Believed to have happened on Wednesday June 22, the dog is believed to have made a full recovery thanks to quick thinking from the owner.
