People across Scotland have called for the country to get a new bank holiday starting from 2023.
A campaign to launch a 'Thank Holiday' has begun, with the aim of introducing a holiday in recognition of the service of millions of people — particularly throughout the pandemic.
It would also be a celebration of the Queen's "extraordinary service" ahead of her Platinum Jubilee, as reported by the Daily Record.
