- Guthrie, 54, stepped away from her hosting duties on the morning program in early February when her mom first went missing. The search for her 84-year-old mother, Nancy, remains ongoing.
- In her absence from the Today show, former host and a close friend, Hoda Kotb, has been filling in.
- “Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her Today colleagues,” a Today show spokesperson said Thursday. “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.”
- Authorities have increased the reward for information leading to Nancy's whereabouts to to $200,000 and the Guthrie family has also offered a $1 million reward.
