The permanent delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations in Geneva, the Kingdom's mission to the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the Kingdom's Consulate General in Geneva celebrated the 92nd National Day on Friday, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
In a speech during a ceremony to mark the occasion, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the UN in Geneva Ambassador Abdulmohsen bin Khothaila highlighted the Kingdom’s march throughout its history until the current prosperous era of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
He underlined their role in building the Kingdom’s international relations on foundations of distinguished partnerships based on cooperation and mutual respect.
He also hailed their role in achieving security, peace, stability and prosperity.
Khothaila underscored the Kingdom's efforts to spread tolerance, peace and respect for cultural diversity and rejection of hatred and extremism.
The ceremony was attended by a number of ambassadors of countries, heads of international organizations, Swiss senior officials and Saudi citizens residing in Geneva.
