SAS Who Dares Wins fans left 'sick' and slam show for not warning against jungle rot snaps

SAS: Who Dares Wins has returned for what bosses claim will be the most brutal series yet.

And if the images in the latest episode are anything to go by, they're not wrong! The disgusting scenes caused uproar on social media as fans said they were left "sick" by the shots.

The Channel 4 hit show aired images of jungle rot on feet as leader Jason 'Foxy' Fox warned the latest group of contestants against the terrors that could lie ahead.

The new series, dubbed Jungle Hell, sees contestants compete in the tough SAS selection course deep in the Vietnamese jungle.

As they were introduced to the conditions, the group were warned about the dangers of jungle rot and graphic images seemingly showed a number of the contestants already suffering.

Close-up shots of some of the feet of the recruits were shown with plasters and bandages strewn all over the battered heels and soles.

Speaking to the camera as the images were shown, Foxy said: "The hardest thing you will have to deal with in the jungle is jungle rot.

"You've got to look after all the bits of your body, especially your feet as that's the only way you are getting around."

But fans quickly flocked to Twitter to share their horror and disgust at the scenes, with one viewer pleading: "Can they stop with the feet now."

A second echoed the opinion, writing: "Stop doing close ups of their feet."

Another was far from impressed by the scenes, adding: "State of them feet."

And it wasn't just the feet people were complaining about. As the cameras zoomed in on a contender projectile vomiting, fans questioned why the show had to get in so close.

The contender was filmed being sick after competing in a waterfall abseil tasks. One user on Twitter wrote: "Did you have to go so close to him being sick."

The current series sees Jamie Clarke from Worcestershire become the first-ever deaf contestant. The 32-year-old relies on lip-reading to communicate and said he signed up to show he is as capable as everyone else.
