Rising temperatures this summer have worsened the water crisis that India has been facing for sometime now. Niti Aayog, the Narendra Modi government's policy think tank, has predicted that we will have only half of the water currently available for human consumption by 2030 if we don't correct course now. Several major cities have already run out of ground water and many places in the country are in a critical state. So what is the government doing to tackle this crisis?
