Robin Williams might get a lot of the plaudits for Mrs Doubtfire, but co-star Sally Field deserves credit for improvising one of the film’s most memorable moments.

In the 1993 comedy, Field, 79, plays Miranda Hillard, the ex-wife of Williams’ character Daniel Hillard, who disguises himself as an elderly Scottish female housekeeper to continue seeing his children.
