Rangers star Ryan Kent has been named as the Scottish Premiership's top chance creator so far this season despite criticism of his performances this term.
The 25-year-old has yet to recapture his best form this season having found the net just once so far this season while Gio van Bronckhorst 's men trail Celtic by four points in the title race and have crashed out of the Champions League. Fans and pundits have taken aim at Kent for his Rangers performances this term, with Ibrox icon Ally McCoist among the leading critics after branding the winger "lazy" after his displays in Europe.
However, stats boffins Opta have revealed that Kent remains vital to the Rangers side and has carved out the most opportunities for his teammates in the least amount of match time this term. During his 785 minutes of game time so far this season he has created 39 chances and secondary chances from open play.
