ESPN’s College Gameday made a trip to Columbus as the Ohio State Buckeyes welcome the Indiana Hoosiers for a top-five battle.
Not only is a spot as a top-two team in the country on the line but, even with a week left in the season, one would certainly argue that so is a trip to the Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis.
The Oregon Ducks are undefeated, and they don’t face anyone that should change that. Penn State has one loss, and Indiana will likely end the regular season undefeated with a win on Saturday.
If Ryan Day’s Buckeyes want to make that conference championship game, they need to win, and that’s certainly something that’s been discussed as he acknowledged that need to win while joining College Gameday.
“These guys know that, if we want to get to Indianapolis, you have to win,” Day said. And, to be fair, while they could still get into the College Football Playoffs, this is a must-win game to get to Indy.
This was something Day had said earlier in the week as well.

The stakes are rising, and with all eyes on the Buckeyes, it’ll be important for them to deliver in front of what should be a rocking Ohio Stadium on Saturday.
