The audience of Loose Women were hushed by host Ruth Langsford on Tuesday, March 21, after it was revealed that Coleen Nolan, who appeared on the panel alongside Janet Street-Porter and Dame Kelly Holmes, was reaping the consequences after enjoying a number of rum and coke cocktails the previous evening.
Before the show got under way - during which stories such as Rupert Murdoch's new engagement, Madonna's new house rules and more were discussed - Ruth welcomed the studio audience to the show before shushing them in a bid to help Coleen's hangover.
She said: "Oh, thank you. Very nice of you to applause, but can you just shush as Coleen's a little fragile." "It's all a bit loud," Coleen added, before Ruth continued: "It's not for us, but if I'd have had five rum and cokes last night, I might be feeling a bit fragile."
