Russia Deploys Nearly 50,000 Troops To Kursk Region

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed on Monday that Russia has deployed nearly 50,000 troops to the Kursk region, where Kyiv launched a surprise counteroffensive during the summer. Zelensky stated that Ukrainian forces are currently engaged in holding back the sizable enemy group in Kursk.

A US official disclosed on Sunday that Russia has assembled a substantial force, including recently arrived North Korean troops, with the intention of launching an assault on Ukrainian positions in Kursk. The official indicated that the offensive is anticipated to take place in the coming days.
