Royal Caribbean to open a free private beach club

The beach club will be located on the island nation of Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean - (Royal Caribbean)

Royal Caribbean is taking its private beach club experience to the southern hemisphere for the first time and it will have free entry for all its cruise passengers.

Royal Beach Club Lelepa will open in October 2027, creating the cruise line's first exclusive South Pacific island escape.

Located on Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean, a stop at the Royal Beach Club Lelepa will be included on every South Pacific sailing with the cruise line from Sydney and Brisbane starting in October 2027.

Unlike Royal Caribbean's other private beach clubs, Lelepa will be free to enter so guests won't need to purchase a day pass.

Guests can enjoy two pristine beaches, an adults-only retreat and an activity-packed family beach.

Activities will include relaxing on the beaches, hiking a scenic nature trail or snorkelling in crystal-clear waters.

Guests will have 10 bars to choose from and plenty of places to eat.

Royal Caribbean has two vessels in the region next year including Anthem of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas.

Itineraries include short getaways, weekend sailings and longer holidays from Sydney and Brisbane, including routes across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Gavin Smith, vice president and managing director for the region, said: “With an expanded lineup of weekend sailings, short escapes and longer ways to holiday, we’re giving travellers even more reasons to explore fan-favourite destinations across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.”

Royal Caribbean opened its first private beach club in the Caribbean in December. It is also launching a Mediterranean version in Santorini and another in Cozumel, Mexico this summer.
