Chelsea were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Manchester United on Thursday night in a game they largely dominated. While it has little bearing on the league positions of either side, the poor finishing on show from the Blues will be a concern for many ahead of the FA Cup final.
Marcos Alonso finally fired Thomas Tuchel's side in front in the second-half only for Cristiano Ronaldo to instantly peg them back with his first clear chance of the game, lashing the ball past Edouard Mendy. Chelsea's profligacy in front of goal has been a concern for the past two campaigns now. This campaign has seen Kai Havertz preferred in the number nine role by Tuchel, but the manager admitted that he expects better from the forward.
