Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe revealed the Government's cost of living Budget on Tuesday this week, bringing support to those who need it most amid the current cost of living crisis.
It detailed an increase in welfare payments, cuts to childcare costs, and three energy credits - among many other things.
The public was promised a vast array of measures to help with everything from groceries to bills and services which continue to skyrocket in price.

The list of new measures announced will be coming in before the end of 2022 and will continue into 2023 to help with targeted concerns.

- Double social welfare payment - for all weekly welfare schemes

- Double payment to SUSI Grant recipients
- €400 Fuel Allowance lump sum
- €500 lump sum for those getting Carers Support Grant and Disability payment
- €500 lump sum for Working Family payments
- €200 lump sum for Living Alone Allowance
- €500 payment to P.h.D researchers
- €1,000 increase for Postgraduate Tuition Fee Contribution Grant
