With three defeats in as many matches, Mumbai Indians' era under Hardik Pandya's captaincy has begun on a disastrous note, after the franchise decided to remove Rohit Sharma as the team's skipper ahead of the ongoing IPL 2024 season.

Besides a hat-trick of defeats -- vs Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, Hardik has also faced a backlash from the fans who have been upset about the change in captaincy and the team's sorry run.
