Rochelle Humes sets record straight on This Morning future after Holly Willoughby 'snub'

Rochelle Humes has finally confirmed her future on This Morning following weeks of speculation over whether she would return.

The former Saturdays star has been regularly stepping in to co-host the show when main presenters have been off since 2013.

But for some reason she wasn’t one of the people named-checked in Holly Willoughby’s speech on her first day back after the Phillip Schofield affair scandal.

Myself, Josie, Dermot, Alison, Craig, and every single person who works on this show will continue to work hard every single day to bring you the show we love," Holly said last month.

Despite the snub from Holly, Rochelle gave fans an update on her future on the show in a candid Q&A on Instagram this week.

In an ‘ask me anything’ session, one fan asked Rochelle ‘Are you still hosting This Morning?’

Revealing she would be returning, Rochelle replied: "Yes I’m back in the summer..."

The last time the 34-year-old hosted This Morning was back in April when Phillip Schofield had just stepped down from the show.

Before Phil revealed he had lied about having an "unwise, but not illegal" affair with a much younger male colleague while he was married, Rochelle praised her co-host.

Sharing photos of her and Phil together presenting This Morning, she wrote: "I’ve proudly been a part of the This Morning family for almost 10 years and over the last few, it has been an absolutely pleasure learning so much from you.

"Thanks for all the lessons – you’re a fountain of love, knowledge and laughter.”

But as Rochelle hadn’t been seen on the show since, it got fans wondering if new career plans were afoot.

Over on her Instagram page, Rochelle recently revealed to her 2.2 million followers that she had a swanky new office installed in her London home.

And she took to social media to tease one of her next projects uploading a sultry snap of herself wearing just a white towelling robe.

Looking stunning as she gazed into the camera, the mum-of-three wrote: "It’s a wrap."

Appearing to hint it could be a fashion shoot or possible new TV show, Rochelle added: "2 days shooting winter in the blazing sunshine... completed it mate."

Rochelle – who is married to JLS star-turned-TV and radio host Marvin Humes – explained: "On my way to day 2 of shooting my next campaign.

"Always so grateful for these days and the incredible team behind them. So lucky to create such a nice gang that I get to do this with."

But fans will have to wait until later in the year to see what Rochelle is referring to...
