Nottingham Forest are "seriously considering" a move for Inter Milan outcast Roberto Gagliardini in the January transfer window.
The Reds' interest in the midfielder emerged earlier this week and comes as Steve Cooper looks to further strengthen his squad. The club have already signed three new players this month in Gustavo Scarpa, Danilo and Chris Wood.
The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer, meaning Forest could reach a pre-contract agreement with the player or sign him for a nominal fee before deadline day. According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via SportWitness), Gagliardini would prefer to move now.
