Robbie Neilson has stated his desire to retain both Robert Snodgrass and Josh Ginnelly at Hearts beyond the summer.
Both players have established themselves as key men in the capital and are in the final months of their current deals. Experienced former Scotland international Snodgrass penned a one-year deal on his arrival at the club last year and is one his boss would 'love' to keep around beyond the end of the season after hailing his influence as 'outstanding'.
Ginnelly has rediscovered himself this season in his attacking role and fired a double on his return from suspension against St Johnstone at the weekend as Hearts keep up their bid to finish third behind Celtic and Rangers as they also target the Scottish Cup. He is another who has received high praise from his boss and one he wants to keep around.

Speaking about the contract situation surrounding both players, Neilson said: "We are still working away. There are a few that we want to keep.
"I have spoken to Snoddy and it is really down to him because of the age he is at and where his family are based, but I would love to keep him here because he has been outstanding.
"Gino has done outstandingly well for us, especially playing in that attacking role, so he is another one that we are talking to. It can take a bit of time to get over the line but I would like to see him here next season."
Hearts face a big week as they take on Ange Postecoglou and his Celtic side TWICE.
The pair go head to head in the Premiership tomorrow night under the lights at Parkhead before they face off once again Saturday lunchtime in the Scottish Cup quarter-final with a last four spot and date at Hampden up for grabs at Tynecastle.
