Robert Aramayo urged audiences to show “grace” towards what he described as the “complex” and “really misunderstood” reality of Tourette syndrome after winning both best actor and the EE Rising Star Award at the BAFTAs.
The 33-year-old was honoured for his portrayal of Tourette’s campaigner John Davidson in the biographical drama I Swear.
