Brisbane players once dominated the Queensland side but they are in the frame to have none take the field in a State of Origin match for just the second time outside of the Super League war.
Their cross-town rivals the Dolphins on the other hand have five players in the Maroons side for game two of the Origin series in Melbourne.
Broncos fullback Reece Walsh has been named on the six-man extended bench in the No.18 jersey but is no certainty to see action.
For the Broncos, it is a far cry from the halcyon days of domination of the Maroons side. In game one and game three of the 2002 series, Brisbane had a record 11 players in the Queensland side.
