Richarlison de Andrade’s stunning bicycle kick goal for Brazil is the World Cup’s best yet

The 2022 World Cup has already had some surprising moments in its first week and now we have the goal of the tournament thanks to Richarlison de Andrade.

Brazil beat Serbia 2-0 in Thursday’s Group G match thanks to Richarlison’s two goals. After a scoreless first half, Richarlison got things started for Brazil in the 62nd minute with the opening tally. But what got fans really going was Richarlison’s second of the match, where he doubled the score for Brazil in the most spectacular fashion.

In the 72nd minute, Richarlison touched a centering pass up to himself before finishing with a gorgeous bicycle kick for the tally past goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.

What an individual effort there from Richarlison to make that play for the score. The goal looks even better from multiple angles as well.

Thanks to Richarlison’s two goals, Brazil is 1-0-0 in the World Cup so far, holding the first spot in Group G ahead of their Monday game against Switzerland.
