Rich Eisen Called Out NFL Network for Commercial Break in Key Moment

Longtime NFL Network host and commentator Rich Eisen wasn't going to let the league off easy.

Eisen, who was on the call for Saturday's Colts-Steelers matchup, spoke for every fan with one comment he made during the broadcast. During the third quarter, Steelers running back Najee Harris fumbled the ball, but officials on the field determined that he was down by contact—a ruling that Indianapolis challenged, and later won.

But as the replays of the play were being shown, NFL Network decided to go to commercial—and the fan in Eisen came out. "Well, the NFL wants us to go break instead of showing you what's going on. So, we'll talk about it when we come back instead," Eisen said.

Eisen has been drawing mixed reviews from fans for his commentary of the Colts-Steelers game, but this was a brilliant remark. At some point, almost every fan has missed important bits of the action in the past because of decisions made by television networks and professional sports leagues.

Eisen, however, was not going to stand for it, as he called out the very people paying his checks. Now, that's bold.
