Gardai have issued a warning to Revolut users over a scam targeting their accounts.
Scammers are believed to be calling people's phones claiming to be from Eir's technical support team, saying that the person's internet connection needs to be upgraded.
The scammer then asks the victim to download an app onto their phone called TeamViewer, which allows control of the phone to fall into the hands of scammers.
