Norman Neilson is getting ready to run from the west coast to the east for charity once again.

The retired Dalbeattie butcher is preparing for the GB Ultras Race Across Scotland which follows the 215-mile Southern Upland way from Portpatrick to Cockburnspath.

And in the process he’s hoping to raise money for RefugEase emergency fund for Ukrainian refugees.
