Restaurant's hilarious shoutout after customer leaves behind full set of TEETH

A restaurant owner has asked a mystery diner to come back and collect the set of teeth they left by her bar.

Emma Whelan, head of The Barclay restaurant in Oldham, shared a picture of the gnashers in a hilarious post on social media.

One of her supervisors found the dentures on the floor by the bar area and put them in a plastic bag for safekeeping.

He labelled the packet 'Teeth - Saturday 19 March 2022' to keep them safe, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Hoping to reunite the gnashers with their rightful owner, Emma posted a picture of the evidence bag on the venue's Facebook and Instagram page - asking who they belonged to.

"We get a lot of things left behind after a night in the Barclay... we’ve had house keys, phones, even a single shoe (she must have hopped home) but this is a new one," she wrote.

"So if you have lost your teeth… YES TEETH!! Give us a call, we’ve kept them safe for you. Ps. It must have been a cracking night."

Nobody has claimed them yet, but the post has left customers in absolute hysterics - many tagging their mates asking if they'd left them behind last night.

Emma said this wasn't the first strange item to be left behind by a customer. Just last week one reveller was said to have left a single shoe behind.

"It was a busy night last night. We had a party upstairs and it was busy downstairs as well. We didn’t find the teeth until the end of the night," she said.

"Our supervisor Cameron found them. They were on the floor by the bar. It’s a full set of teeth. I particularly wanted to post it because someone is definitely missing them.

"I had gone by that point, it was about 1.30am. Cameron just posted a picture in our work group asking if anyone had lost them.

"Everyone that comes in here knows everyone as we are right in the centre of Royton, but nobody has replied to the post yet. We have so many things left here it is ridiculous."

Emma says the post has gone 'absolutely crazy' on their social media. "The last time a post on our social media went that crazy was when I accidentally advertised our hoisin d*** pizza instead of hoisin duck," she joked.

The bar and restaurant opened in November 2018 and specialises in pizza and prosecco. It is usually packed with locals every weekend who can enjoy live music and DJs.
