The internet has been sent into meltdown following reports that Pete Davidson is dating Ice Spice.
The former Saturday Night Live star, 29, has amassed an impressive portfolio of famous exes over the years, ranging from Ariana Grande to Kate Beckinsale.
He was in a high-profile relationship with reality TV star Kim Kardashian, 42, for nine months until last summer and most recently was seen enjoying a number of dates with model Emily Ratajkowski, 31.
Now, it appears that it’s all change again with his name being linked to 23-year-old New York rapper Ice Spice - real name Isis Gaston.
“The Streets are saying Pete Davidson is dating Ice Spice. It’s not fair,” wrote one person on Twitter, followed by two crying face emojis.
“Pete Davidson leave Ice Spice Alone,” declared another person.
“Me: Wait, there was an Ice Spice?” joked a third, alongside a picture of the Spice Girls, whose nicknames included Baby Spice and Sporty Spice.
After a little bit of digging, the rumour appears to have stemmed from a post on Instagram shared by @itsfinisher, which is a meme account and shared a side-by-side picture of Davidson and Ice Spice along with the caption: “Pete Davidson is now dating NYC rapper Ice Spice”.
The account has confirmed in the picture’s caption that it was a satirical post, and that it was created “for entertainment purposes only,” however until Davidson or Ice Spice speak up, the jury is still out.
