Indianapolis Colts running back Nyheim Hines has reportedly generated trade interest ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, and there is a good chance a deal gets done, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN.
Hines has been a valuable piece to the offense since he was selected in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft when used right. The Colts reportedly haven’t gotten an offer they truly like enough to part ways with Hines, but Holder reported that they believe they will.
Everything I’m hearing right now about the status of things with Colts RB Nyheim Hines indicates odds are good he will be traded by tomorrow’s deadline. Colts haven’t gotten the offer they want just yet, but there’s a strong feeling they just might. Stay tuned.

Considering the direction the team is going in, they should be listening on most offers they get ahead of Tuesday’s deadline. Their chances to make the playoffs are slim after their latest loss to the Washington Commanders, which means it’s time to start looking toward the draft.
Hines has been a key piece to the offense since he arrived in 2018, and he currently has a contract that runs through the 2024 season.
We’ll see what happens as the 4:00 p.m. ET deadline approaches, but it appears Hines may be on his way out.
