Rep Brandon Gill expresses concern over rising Muslim population in US, says he doesn’t want kids growing up in country where 90% wear ‘burqas’

United States representative Brandon Gill expressed concerns over the increasing number of Muslims in areas like Dallas and Texas.

While speaking at an event, Gill said he doesn't want his children to grow up in a country where 90% of people wear burqas and speak foreign languages.

"I would rather preserve the America that we know and love so that my daughter and my son can grow up in that country. As opposed to growing up in a world where they go to the mall in Dallas, Texas, and you see 90% of the people wearing burkas and speaking foreign," he said.

Earlier, Laura Loomer, a far-right activist, also raised concerns and said that she felt "unsafe" as there are too many Muslims appointed at the US airports.

In a post on X, Loomer said that when she landed in Atlanta, she saw so many workers wearing a hijab and called it "alarming."

"I flew back to the US last night after being abroad for a few days. I landed in Atlanta, Georgia before my connecting flight, and 4 out of 8 of the workers at customs were wearing hijabs. Why do we allow for Muslims to work as TSA agents and work inside US airports? It’s very alarming to me. We have too many Muslims in America. Makes me feel very unsafe," she said.

It seems that Islamophobia is back in the US where several MAGA and GOP members are raising concerns about Muslims in the America.
