Reece Dinsdale offers exciting Emmerdale update after return

Reece Dinsdale shared an exciting update with fans as he returned to Emmerdale.

The actor left his role as Paul Ashdale in a dramatic fashion on April 1.

Jimmy King crashed into the barn where Paul and Mandy Dingle were due to get married.

At the time, Paul and Liv Flaherty had been in the barn, with Liv confronting him for abusing son Vinny.

However, the impact of the collision caused gas canisters to explode and Paul was killed.

Shortly after his departure, actor Reece returned to the soap, but in a new role.

Reece directed 14 episodes of Emmerdale in 2021, covering some big storylines.

But in his latest update on February 22, Reece revealed he was back on set.

Posting a picture of the Dales sunset, Reece said: "The last day of my #Emmerdale shoot is tomorrow. Four new episodes coming your way shortly.

"A chance to be creative in any form… it’s all I ask. Goodnight, good people."

Reece's followers said they were looking forward to the airing of his episode.

Anthea said: "Have a fabulous last day on set - hope all goes well and you get the shots you need. If you are filming outside I hope the weather is kind to you today."

Avril said: "Looking forward to seeing what you've created by direction on these four episodes of #Emmerdale."

Lolly said: "Looking forward to them."

And Marcy said: "Brilliant they were as well Reece."
