One of a pair of baby red squirrels recovering in the care of wildlife experts after they were found soaking wet in a ditch - (PA)

Two baby red squirrels are now recovering under the watchful eye of wildlife experts after being discovered sodden in a ditch.

The vulnerable pair were found at the base of a tree in Oban, Argyll and Bute, on 1 April by a member of the public who promptly alerted the Scottish SPCA.
