The Baltimore Ravens found a few diamonds in the rough during the 2021 season. After going through so many injuries they had to rely on players who weren’t expected to see much playing time.
On Tuesday, Baltimore announced that they signed running back Nate McCrary to a Reserve/Future deal. McCrary was a stud during training camp and the preseason, but the Ravens ended up waiving him at the end of training camp and he was picked up by the Denver Broncos off of waivers shortly thereafter.

Baltimore was able to sign McCrary back to the practice squad after being let go by Denver in late-September. With the Ravens, McCrary only played in one game and managed negative one yards on two carries in an early December matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
By signing McCrary to this deal, it gives Baltimore more running back depth. With how many injuries the team suffered at the position in 2021, it always helps to have as much depth as possible.
