The Baltimore Ravens have been a popular stop for veteran players looking for a change of scenery. Their on-field competitiveness factored in with their off-field stability makes the organization an attractive destination, one that can offer players the things that they’re looking for.
When talking about his new opportunity in Baltimore, new Ravens running back Derrick Henry explained that he’s grateful to be with his new team. He cited the work, culture, and brotherhood of Baltimore, making sure to also mention that work has to get put in to achieve their goals this season.
“I don’t want to get too much in no possibilities, but it’s everything that I imagined. The work here, the culture the brotherhood that [the Ravens] have. [I’m] grateful to be here. [I’m] excited for the opportunity. Putting the work in now in training camp, just so the things that we want to happen will happen, but not getting to any possibilities or making any predictions. [We] just put the work in now and let it all come together when it’s time to suit up and go get some ‘dubs.'”
The Ravens are looking to avenge their devastating defeat to the Kansas City in the AFC Championship game last year. While Henry wasn’t a part of that team, he is hungry for his own reasons, looking to compete for a championship alongside his new teammates.
