Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley led the Ravens to a comeback win in the final seconds against the Denver Broncos in Week 13. His quarterback sneak was the difference maker in the 10-9 win, as Baltimore was the only team to score a touchdown in the game. Huntley came in to the game after Lamar Jackson left the game with a knee injury.
In his postgame interview, Huntley was asked about how he thrives as a backup quarterback. However, he wanted to start by giving appreciation to the organization, saying he’s blessed to even be playing with the Ravens.

“I’m already blessed to be even playing with the Ravens. So, I think it starts there – it’s a blessing to be playing with the Baltimore Ravens, and everything else is going to take care of itself or after that.”
Huntley might have to play for the next few weeks depending on the severity of Jackson’s knee injury. The good news is that he has playing experience and kept the Ravens in every game that he started in 2021. Huntley has the grit and confidence to keep the Ravens in games and to win them as well, and that’s what they need heading into Pittsburgh to face off against the Steelers in Week 14.
