Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and new Baltimore wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. appear to be well on their way toward buidling a strong rapport.
Baltimore’s franchise quarterback discussed his new teammate, among other topics during the team’s preseason opener on Saturday, and gave a glowing review of Beckham.
While discussing the team’s new pass-catcher and what it’s like playing with Beckham, Jackson had a unique way of describing their connection in his interview with WBAL-TV.
Beckham has a long history of making dynamic catches, including the one-handed variety, and Jackson clearly is excited to test those skills on the field.
"He makes my job a lot easier. Put it anywhere in his perimeter and he's going to make something happen. It's like throwing an alley-oop and Odell is just finishing with the dunk." -Lamar Jackson on new WR Odell Beckham Jr. pic.twitter.com/z2LeR0Zijr

Ravens fans have to be salivating at the idea of Jackson throwing an alley-oop up to Beckham, given his résumé of amazing receptions.
Beckham is set to return from a one-season absence from the league after suffering a torn ACL in Super Bowl LVI with the Rams. He was linked to numerous teams both last year and this offseason before joining Baltimore on a one-year, $15 million deal with $3 million in incentives.
