The Baltimore Ravens shook up the NFL world on Sunday evening when news broke that the team was signing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year contract worth up to $18 million dollars. Beckham will join a receiver group that also includes Rashod Bateman, Devin Duvernay, Nelson Agholor and more, and hopefully an offense that contains quarterback Lamar Jackson.
After the news was first reported, Jackson took to Instagram to post a screenshot of him on FaceTime with Beckham. There was clear excitement on both of their faces, and while Jackson’s football future is still unclear, this could be a positive sign in how his situation plays out moving forward.
