The Baltimore Ravens will most certainly be evaluating all of their options at the wide receiver position during the 2023 offseason. The team has gotten very lackluster production out of their wideouts for many years, and will need to find more options to put next to Rashod Bateman moving forward.
When listing the best fits for the top free agent wide receiver options of the 2023 offseason, David Kenyon of Bleacher Report chose Baltimore for two pass catchers. He named the Ravens as the best fit for Detroit Lions wide receiver DJ Chark, saying that the former LSU star would be worth taking a flier on for Baltimore.
“If they can get Lamar Jackson to agree to an extension, the Baltimore Ravens must bolster their receiving corps. Demarcus Robinson led all Ravens wide receivers in both catches (48) and receiving yards (458) last season. While injuries have hampered their receiving corps in recent years, Chark would be worth taking a flier on.”
Kenyon then lists the Ravens as the third-best option for Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard, saying that Baltimore offensive coordinator Todd Monken could play to Lazard’s strengths.
“Baltimore has a similar outlook with the arrival of new offensive coordinator Todd Monken, whose balanced approach at powerhouse Georgia would mesh well with Lazard’s strengths.”
