Raphinha and Gabriel Jesus Arsenal transfer hint emerges as Edu targets £110m double deal

Arsenal have reached a verbal agreement to sign Gabriel Jesus for £45m and talks are ongoing to also wrap up a deal for £65m valued Raphinha, according to various reports.

The links have understandably gone down well amongst fans, with both players possessing top-quality that will no doubt improve Mikel Arteta's team next season.

Despite the potential transfers not being completed yet, the excitement has only grown after one of Gabriel Martinelli's friends posted an edited picture of the Brazilian trio in Arsenal shirts at the Emirates Stadium on his Instagram story.

The image was accompanied by a caption which read: 'Just imagine', and it didn't take long for suspicious supporters to share the post on social media.

Dario Vieira, who posted the picture, is a very close friend of Martinelli and was spotted on the pitch with the forward during a lap of appreciation following the final game of the 2021/22 season.

As things stand, it looks likely that Jesus will become an Arsenal player in the coming days, although Raphinha appears to be more tricky due to strong interest reportedly being shown by Tottenham, Chelsea and Barcelona.

It will be interesting to see, however, if Jesus' arrival in addition to the connection with Edu, Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes can help the club convince him that Arsenal is the best place to be.
