Ryan Kent has been told to 'buck up his ideas' or he will end up in the Championship and NOT the English Premier League.
The Rangers star has entered the final 12 months of his current deal at the Light Blues and is yet to strike an agreement over extended terms with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side. He arrived at the club initially on a loan deal from Liverpool before then boss Steven Gerrard shelled out £7million to make the move permanent.
Kent has impressed on the big stage and was a key player on their Europa League run to Seville last summer that ended with defeat to Frankfurt in the final on penalties. But he's not been able to recapture anywhere near his best form so far this season. He has failed to find the net in ten games in all competitions but has chipped in with three assists.

Leeds United are long-term admirers of the attacker but former Aston Villa striker and talkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor reckons a vast improvement in performances is needed from Kent if he is planning on a move to England's top league. Kent is free to put pen to paper on a pre-contract in January if he doesn't agree an extension at Ibrox.
Speaking to Football Insider, Agbonlahor said: “To be honest, if you’re not ripping up trees in the SPFL then no big club is going to look at you at all.
“If he doesn’t buck up his ideas and start performing it’s going to affect his next move.
“He might be looking at the Premier League and end up in the Championship.
“He has to definitely start performing. When I’ve watched him recently he hasn’t looked like the Ryan Kent I saw last year.
“He’s got to improve, definitely.”
