Rangers squad revealed as Colak and Roofe returns give Beale decision to make up front

Michael Beale is boosted by the returns of Antonio Colak and Kemar Roofe to face Motherwell as he edges closer to having a fully fit squad for the first time since his return to Ibrox.

Rangers welcome Motherwell to Ibrox as they look to maintain their 100 per cent record under the Englishman and ask the question of Celtic once more at the top. Performances haven't all been there since he took over but they look like they know how to get results again, having battled out victories over Hibs, Aberdeen and Ross County to keep the momentum building.

Alfredo Morelos and Fashion Sakala have split the striking duties but Colak is their top scorer this season and could go back in to face the Steelmen, as could Roofe after a long injury layoff. Beale said: "Roofe and Colak have trained so it's up to me if I select them or not. It's fair to say they are not 100 percent fit because they have been out for a while.

Ross Tierney and Borna Barisic (SNS Group)

"In Kemar's case a lot longer than Antonio but they have trained the last two days which is pleasing. It's a case of whether I need them now or if I can top them up before a big January, a huge January."

Meanwhile the boss also confirmed Alan McGregor is fit despite missing out against County and he could go back in. Borna Barisic is back too, although this one could come just too soon after his return from World Cup duty.

Rangers predicted XI

He may have more striking options to choose from but Beale hinted at easing Colak and Roofe back in and after Morelos was given a rest from starting duties in Dingwall, he seems likely to come back in here. That doesn't have to come at Fashion Sakala's expense though and having started every game under Beale so far, he could move onto the wing.

Ryan Jack could return to midfield while Adam Devine will be hoping to keep his spot at left-back with Barisic still getting himself up to speed. Other than that, it's been a fairly settled side under Beale and that trend should continue.
