Rangers have reportedly booted out a £6m transfer bid for winger Djeidi Gassama.
According to reports, the Ibrox club have rejected an approach from Serie A club Monza.
TuttoMercatoWeb state that Rangers have knocked back interest from Monza in Gassama this summer.
Reports from Italy revealed a £6m bid was thrown out by Rangers in recent days.
It's thought Rangers have made it clear an improved offer would be required for any movement on Gassama before the window closes next week.
The outlet claims Rangers have set a transfer demand of around £8.5m.
It is not yet clear whether Monza will return to the table with an improved offer to land Gassama this summer.
Parma have also been credited with an interest in Gassama, with suggestions that a bid from the club has been rejected alongside the Monza approach.
The 22-year-old has played five times for Rangers this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
