Raghavan to coach Goa

MUMBAI: The Goa Cricket Association has appointed an all-Mumbai coaching staff for their men's senior team for the 2023-24 domestic season, which will commence in September with the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

The GCA has named Vinod Raghavan, who has coached Mumbai's Under-16, Under-19 and U-23 sides, as the head coach of their senior men's side, with Prashant Shetty, who too is a well-known coach in Mumbai, being the assistant coach. "Yes, Raghavan and Shetty are our senior team coaches," GCA president Vipul Phadke told TOI.

The Goa women's senior team batting coach will be Mumbai's Umesh Patwal.
