The Queen has appeared to 'snub' Meghan Markle on her 41st birthday this week. It is believed that Meghan quietly celebrated her birthday on August 4 with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, Archie and Lilibet.
It's believed they spent her birthday at their family home in California. Over the pond in the UK, claims have surfaced that The Queen has 'snubbed' Meghan by not wishing her a happy birthday publicly.
The Mirror has reported that it is customary for the Royal Family social media accounts to wish Meghan a happy birthday publicly each year. However, this year, no posts have been made.

Since 2018, when Meghan and Harry wedded, the Royal Family Twitter account has publicly wished her a happy birthday. Last year, the account noted her 40th birthday.
But, this year, the only posts on Meghan's birthday detailed Princess Anne's visit to Edinburgh. There was no post on Twitter, or Instagram, wishing Meghan Markle a happy birthday.
The Daily Express' royal correspondent Richard Palmer said the decision for the Royal Family's official accounts not to wish the Duchess a happy birthday was 'notable'. However, it could be as a result of a change in policy authorised by The Queen.
Richard Palmer said, "The Queen's website [has decided] it will only mark the birthdays of non-working members of the family when they end in a zero." This could explain the deliberate choice not to wish Meghan Markle a happy birthday this year - although it has appeared by many that the Queen has chosen to 'snub' Prince Harry's wife.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose a different tactic and did send a public happy birthday message Meghan's way. Kate and William shared a message on their Instagram Stories, saying: "Wishing a happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!".
They also shared a picture of Meghan, taken during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June. This comes as Prince Harry reportedly told older brother, William, that his wife, Kate, 'could be friendlier' to Meghan.
Author Tom Bower's book, 'Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War between the Windsors', claims that The Duke of Sussex had a stern chat with Prince William about Meghan and Kate's relationship. Over the years, there have been countless reports suggesting tension between Meghan and Kate, and tension between the two brothers is reportedly still felt.
