The "writing is on the wall" for Nottingham Forest head coach Steve Cooper if results don't pick up after the international break because of their summer of signings, according to Danny Mills.
Some 22 signings arrived at the City Ground during the transfer window following promotion to the Premier League, but understandable excitement at these additions has yet to translate onto the pitch. After picking up four points from the opening three games represented a solid start, the Reds have failed to add to their tally since and lost their fourth straight game to Fulham on Friday night.
This recent run of results has seen external pressure placed upon Cooper, with Forest sitting second-bottom of the league table at this early stage of the season. Mills has only added to this, insisting that a change could be made by owner Evangelos Marinakis as soon as next month.
