Final thoughts
So that will about do it from The Guardian live WBC coverage tonight but we will be back Same (Baseball) Bat Time, (Baseball) Bat Channel tomorrow when USA will face Venezuela for the right to face Cuba in Sunday’s semifinals. As always, thanks for following along with us for Puerto Rico v Mexico. We can only hope to get as good of a game tomorrow. Ciao!
What a start for our WBC quarter-finals coverage! It looked like this was going to be a blowout on the side of Puerto Rico but instead Mexico managed to chip away and then take advantage of a bases-loaded situation late to take the lead. They will be facing Japan in Monday’s semi-final game!
