There were celebratory scenes in Dublin after a winning €500,000 ticket was sold as part of a Lotto draw.
The golden ticket was sold in the Daily Millions draw on Tuesday, where one lucky punter nabbed the Plus top prize. The huge sum was announced earlier today at the Applegreen in Ballybrack, Dublin Live reported.
Lotto bosses are urging the public to check their tickets, with the lucky punter yet to claim their prize.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “A Daily Million player in Dublin is sure to be celebrating after they scooped the Daily Million Plus top prize of €500,000 following Tuesday’s 2pm draw."
They are urging them to sign the back of the ticket and get in touch ASAP.
The winning numbers in Tuesday’s (April 4) 2pm Daily Million Plus draw were 2, 4, 7, 8, 10, 13, and the bonus was 34.
This is the second Daily Million plus top prize win of the year, after a player in Louth nabbed half a million last month.
"We’ve also had two winners of the Daily Million top prize worth an amazing €1 Million from Kerry and Dublin so far this year," a lotto spokesperson said.
"We are encouraging all of our Daily Million players in Dublin to check their tickets carefully.
"And the winner should sign the back of their ticket, make contact with our prize claims team so that arrangements can be made for them to claim their life-changing prize," they added.
