A pub has been stripped of its music license after a local resident complained that the noise levels were like being tortured in prison, who also claimed that the loud music was so bad it forced neighbours to move out of the area.
Eight noise complaints were made against The Pilot Hotel in Holbrooks, Coventry in the last eight months, and residents also reported anti-social behaviour in the pub's beer garden.
The pub is now no longer permitted to play live or recorded music and has been asked to relocate its beer garden, which had been moved from its original area near a different road.
